Models Off The Runway

Leaving Chloé in the color that Chloé solidified as the "it" color for F/W 2010. She just finished her 2d consecutive season walking Calvin Klein, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta and debuted her Paris season with walks down Balenciaga, Lanvin, YSL, and Givenchy. Hopefully she books high end editorials, forges relationships with key influential photographers in the off season, and continues to cultivate a style that will ensure the longevity of her value in fashion's fickle eye.

You're only new once to the runway's and last season Frida Gustavsson was already showing signs of being a media favorite (I don't mean runway, or editorial, or campaign) by sheer virtue of her great sense of style. She was always willing to give a picture, which if you ask me, is critical to helping a model become a household name -- which in turn increases her booking value and helps her make more money.

Stay tuned for tomorrows post in which I'll reveal my choice for which model at the Fall/Winter 2010 shows also displayed positive signs of being a media favorite.

Besides Opening and Closing the Jean Paul Gaultier show in Paris this season, Sasha had other "golden" moments as well.

Celine and Chloé may have popularized camel as The Fall/Winter color for the season, but while bouncing from Calvin Klein in New York to the likes of Prada and Chanel in Europe, Sophie proved that a grey neutral can do just as good as a job.

Subdued yet varied. Jac always has something going on style wise besides the ubiquitous all black model uniform.
