Joan Smalls of Elite New York as discovered on Broadway hailing a cab. She was in Ricky Martin's video, "It's Alright", modeled for the 2007 Nordstrom's catalog, and appeared alongside Anouck Lepère in past Liz Claiborne ads.

On a side note, I can't believe I got a clean shot in the middle of the day on Broadway.

Dree Hemingway and her close friend, actress Becka Diamond. Dree's doing some work in Europe right now and I can't wait to see the results!

I first saw Darla on the corner of Prince and Mercer eyeing some street vendor products. But there were way too many cars, bikers, and people around there to get even a half decent shot. So in typical street hunter mode, she moved to the corner of Crosby and Prince 2 blocks away where the timing was finally right to ask for a shot. Then we walked two more blocks together to find a decent area for a decent shot.

Maddie had a colorful runway season walking shows from Dior in Paris to Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren in New York. Her skirt and smile strike me as equally colorful here.

Hopefully she gets the pages, pages, and more pages of high end editorials and campaigns to really solidify a foundation for long term career success. I know my eyes will be watching her progress carefully.

Talking to my friend Egle reminded me of how non-glamorous the travel schedule of a model can sometimes be. After this photo was shot, she was flying that day to Milan, then booked 2 days later to fly to Tokyo. It's almost like you never really know where in the world you will find yourself until the very last minute in time. As a lifestyle, I can see how this could be challenging.

With 2 consecutive seasons walking Balenciaga, Céline, Givenchy, YSL, and Valentino, this 2d season star is already proving her longevity.

Yeah Hannah did a Miu Miu campaign, yeah she had a great runway season, yeah it's official news that she's doing a Burberry campaign and 10 magazine editorial, but what about Hannah as a person?

What about all those "strangers" who friend request her on facebook?

Polish newcomer Maddie caught a wide variety of Casting Director's eyes this SS17 season. From London's Russell Marsh (opened Dries van Noten at Paris and walked Miu Miu), to New York's Jennifer Starr (she walked Ralph Lauren), to New York's Michelle Lee for KCD (she walked Marc Jacobs).

The icing on the cake was wrapping up the Paris shows with Lanvin, YSL, and Dior.
