I'd have to say that working back stage at the TIBI show was a borderline Zen/harmony experience. I had imagined that it was going to literally be a "mosh pit" of photogprahers and journalists contorting around one another in a tiny cramped space. While the space back stage is small, there was still some kind of flow between people back stage that made moving around a smooth, effortless process for everyone involved. And to the PR people at TIBI, thanks for the opportunity!

John Pfeiffer, the elusive Casting Director for the Victoria's Secret show. Basically, John narrows down the candidates to walk the show from over 200 to just around 80. John casts for numerous other directional shows like Oscar and Ralph Lauren.

backstage is actually quite spacious and open, unlike at New York Fashion Week shows, where it's crowded.

Numerous interviews simulataneously happen backstage. For 39 girls who walk the show, I'd say there are at least 25-30 interviews being simultaneously conducted.

Shu Pei, a new face for the show. There were 11 new faces in the Victoria's Secret Show this season, down from 15 new faces last year.

This week in Paris has been a complete boon in every possible way. For starters, two of my photos appear in the print edition of the 40th Anniversary edition of New York Magazine. And secondly, I shot the Purple Magazine party for style.com which is aptly titled, Olivier Twist.

Ultimately, I hope to turn all this into editorial fashion photography in the future.
