With the weather being rainy and cloudy these last few days in New York City, I thought this photo of Karlie in her 1940's Betty Paige lock inspiration might brighten up everyone's day.
There's not much you can add to Karlie's performance this last season. She opened 4 shows in Paris, closed 4 shows in New York, and walked some 41 shows in total.
What can be said though is that I'm finally going back to New York today! Woot! While traveling in Europe for 26 nights is fun, it's always nice to come home and sleep on your own bed in your own place.

The first time I shot Frida and Karlie together, I was really trying to get a shot of them standing side by side, since they are both at eye's glance, of similar height. Thought with two seasons worth of shots, you could finally get a decent idea.
In a world (the fashion world) where people commonly mistake their public image of who they represent with who they really are on the inside, it's always freeing to meet someone who intuitively makes you feel like they know who they truly are on their inside. I've always felt a bit of this authenticity with Karlie which I think this picture displays.
