So it's Friday night and I'm working on Crosby street doing a gig for Conde Nast France (making a living through street photography means making my monthly mortgage payment sometimes at the expense of weekend partying) when to my surprise, Ming walks by with a friend.

For those of you that don't know, Ming has walked 3 consecutive Givenchy shows: her debut runway show at the January Couture shows, the March Paris RTW show, and the July Couture show. On top of that, she appears in the Givenchy campaign as well. For a girl who hasn't even finished a complete year of runway shows yet , this is amazing.

I can't wait to see how her personal style evolves over time.

Johanne Friis may be wearing cut off jeans and a top from Urban Outfitters, but something tells me this second year high school student (there are only 3 years of High School in Norway) might be wearing Louis Vuitton or Prada soon. She takes acting classes back in Norway which improves the breadth of emotions she can portray for the camera and let me tell you, she was amazing to shoot. Tayane Leão was just 14 when she won the Ford Super Model of the World 2009 contest. Here, with a tid bit of her style (pockets of her jean shorts popping out from the hem of her cut off jeans) she exudes that fierceness that will one day probably make her a fixture of the modeling industry.

The one thing I like about Lina besides that she is also represented by FORD models New York, besides her creative vision (her bracelet and her sweater are self-made), is that she writes her blog from Sweden in English. Initially Amanda's amazing Peach colored jumpsuit grabbed my eye. It's from Danish designer Vilsbøl de Arce .

Christel Winther on the right is new to the New York division of FORD models. With German Vogue and a Diesel campaign already under her belt, it'll be exciting to see how her career develops here in New York.

It's never too late to have a first! This is the first time I've ever shown photos not taken by me. Instead these shots of Nika Lauraitis (FORD models, current Moschino Campaign) were taken by Hyoni Kang (FORD supermodel of the world 2008, current Lacoste campaign) at The Mercer Kitchen last night where we met for a couple of hours of fun.

Hyoni, current Lacoste campaign model and FORD Supermodel of the World 2008 winner. Yeah, that's what everyone knows about her right now and rightfully so, as these are major accomplishments anyone would capitalize on to build their modeling career. What about after modeling though?

Well, Hyoni custom tailored her dress, by shortening the hemline and answers the perennial post modeling question with her plans of one day starting a vintage reworking business.

What a pleasure it was to run into FORD Supermodel of the World winner Hyoni Kang (In Lacoste campaign alongside Tanya Dziahileva shot by Terry Richardson) and Alexina Graham (Burberry campaign alongside Lily Donaldson shot by Mario Testino). We had a rip roaring good time walking from Soho to the West Village as you can see from the photos. Just to let you know, Hyoni is pronounced with two syllables (hyo-knee), not with three syllables (hee-yo-knee).

I thought I'd throw in the last scan just for fun as I personally believe there is a grain of truth to handwriting analysis. While it's not substitute for old fashioned due diligence when it comes to employment hiring practices and other important matters, handwriting analysis does serve a purpose in it's proper time and place. This happens to be the proper time and place--just having a GOOD time.

Notice how Hyoni underlines her signature and then ornaments it with a star? It makes sense considering how she's so well dressed doesn't it (dress and sandals)? And notice the sharp points in Alexina's "h" and "m" in her last name? That's anayltical....think.think.think.

From winning the Ford Supermodel of the World 2009 contest at just age 14 to the FW11 Givenchy runway, Tayane proves she can rock more than just her On Duty jobs with her maxi dress coupled with some tough soled, yet heeled boots.

Also has anyone else seen the preview for Karl Lagerfeld's film The Tale of a Fairy on You Tube? The film which features Freja, Kristen McMenamy, and Baptiste Giabiconi will be featured alongside the Chanel's Cruise Collection but will be viewable in it's entirety tomorrow on Chanel.com

If only we could all rock shiny metallic pants like @Daiane (@Ford, NY) when out and about.
