Lily Donaldson wearing a blazer by Helmut Lang. She was super cool. As I saw her approaching, I shouted out "Lilly" then paused..."I took your photo in Paris at the Alexander Wang party" she nodded her head, put her bags down and to the side, and smiled.
Rising Star from Ukraine Naty Chabanenko on left as seen here with her gal pal Vlada Roslyakova. Notice Vlada has what I think is a Canon Power Shot in tow. The next models street style photographer competitor?? Gasp!
As spotted at MILK Studios.

Mirte Maas, November 2009
Tati Cotliar, September 2009
The first time I shot Mirte was right after her first runway season, before she shot the Balenciaga campaign with Steven Meisel, before she shot her first VOGUE U.S. editorial, and before she shot her first VOGUE Nippon editorial. She has since taken the modeling world by storm and most likely, your first street style shot of her was seen here.
If you look back in the archive history, you will also see that the same probably holds true for Tati Cotliar as well; my first street shot of her dating back to September 2009. You can also add Dree Hemingway to the list back in December of 2008.
What new faces do you think will surface a the couture shows?
Agyness Deyn as discovered on Lafayette Street. "Agyness!" She turned around, "Hey, I shot you last spring over there (pointing to Elizabeth and Prince). Did you ever get a chance to see the the shot? It turned out amazing!" "No, I didn't...." she replied. "You were standing like this" and then I proceeded to put on my best chin to shoulder Agyness pose which got a laugh. "So can I get a shot?" "Yeah!" The second shot is a scan of the recent June/July issue of Teen Vogue which has my second solo page of pictures in it.
Vlada Roslyakova (Women, NY)
In the words of Lloyd Price's late 1950's song, "over and over I'll be a fool for you. Cause you got personality, walk personality, talk personality, smile personality"
STYLE
At Paris Fashion Week
SUBSTANCE
Good Times as co-host to the charity fundraiser at the Fire and Ice Ball alongside Teen Vogue's Andrew Bevan
SUCCESS
She walked Rodarte, Christian Dior, Lanvin, Versace at the F/W '10 shows and within the last year has been shot by Steven Meisel.
In the Tuileries, surrounded by a gaggle of photographers
At this last Paris Fashion Week's Purple Magazine party at Montana (where only some 200 were invited) I had a chance to briefly chat with Natasha. We talked about the blitzkrieg of photographers outside of the shows, about how intense the Asian publication market for models street style is, and I had the opportunity to meet her booker as well. If sincerity ever contributed to a models success, it would have to be Natasha's, as she just struck me as an overall cool person.

Old School enthusiasts would say Martha has 3 things going for her:
1. Solid Runway--Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Victoria's Secret
2. Solid Editorial--NUMÉRO China Feb. 2011, Vogue Covers, etc.
3. Solid Campaigns/Advertising--luxury clients like Bergdorf's and Neiman Marcus, and H&M
As a New School enthusiast I'd add Martha also has
4. Solid Press Potential--via internet, largely because of her effortless sense of fashion and personableness with photographers. Above, she maintains her classic style base, yet still accessorizes with trendy round sunglasses and platform shoes.
