Wow! Today I was leaving Barnes and Noble and spotted Brazilian babe Martha Streck rockin out not only her 7 month old pup Bartholomew, but her Stella McCartney blazer and Tory Burch bag. That was great. What was strange was how some dude that neither of us knew decided he wanted to stand right next to Martha and stare at her right while I was taking the photo. The make up genius behind Gucci, YSL, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Miu Miu among other shows is Pat McGrath. So it's safe to say she's pretty much the World Thought Leader when it comes to make up. Think Jerry Hall for this Spring as seen on Martha at the SS17 Gucci show and a more sophisticated 70's look for this winter as seen on Caroline at the FW11 Gucci show. 4. Solid Press Potential--via internet, largely because of her effortless sense of fashion and personableness with photographers. Above, she maintains her classic style base, yet still accessorizes with trendy round sunglasses and platform shoes.

I'd have to say that working back stage at the TIBI show was a borderline Zen/harmony experience. I had imagined that it was going to literally be a "mosh pit" of photogprahers and journalists contorting around one another in a tiny cramped space. While the space back stage is small, there was still some kind of flow between people back stage that made moving around a smooth, effortless process for everyone involved. And to the PR people at TIBI, thanks for the opportunity!
